In Katya Silchenko’s Kiev fashion show-room The COAT, the architects from the YoDezeen studio employed a classic version of minimalism. A bold combination of strict lines and shapes in a flexible space allowed each detail in the interior to work aesthetically and functionally.
In the middle of the hall there are several mirrored tables made from very thick glass, used for demonstrating shoes and accessories. Copper piping clothes racks, lights, furniture, and mirror were used to create a glowing, charming, and stylish atmosphere, an informal setting for the seller and buyer, where they could relax in a comfortable environment. Many of the pieces were custom-made for the showroom, including the furniture. The idea was to combine fashion with interior design to make showroom very cozy and welcoming to customers.
