CONCEPT

The design avoids clichés, focusing on the authenticity of countryside aesthetics, blending comfort and finesse seamlessly.

Thoughtfully integrated accents root the design in its surroundings while elevating the restaurant with a modern sensibility.

Challenge

The project began as a raw structural frame, offering only concrete slabs as the foundation. YODEZEEN faced the challenge of creating not just interiors, but a fully cohesive architectural and design narrative. One of the defining challenges was to create a large open space that felt inviting and divided into intimate areas without constructing permanent barriers.

Layout

Sofas, paired with custom-designed drawers, create naturally defined sections, while carefully varied seating formats add layers of intimacy and function. This dynamic interplay ensures the vast space maintains a sense of human scale. French-style arches span the walls and ceilings, their curvature softening lines and echoing the classic silhouettes of Mediterranean architecture. This motif carries through the restaurant, seen in the curved details of the furniture, the elegant shape of the travertine-clad fireplace, and the gentle sweep of the plush sofas, blending structure and art.

Result

From conceptual planning to the final installation, the entire process was handled by YODEZEEN, with furniture and decor custom-designed based on architectural sketches. Signature pieces such as custom-made tables, sofas, and Gommaire chairs were specially produced to meet the exacting standards of the design. Natural materials play a starring role, with travertine, stucco, and oak forming the primary palette. Additional touches like rattan, leather weaving, textured wood, and rope—wrapped around columns and table legs—imbue the design with an earthy honesty, while the inventive use of materials, such as aged mirrors and bamboo, complements the larger vision of refined rural sophistication.
