Hazelwood House embodies the idea of a warm countryside refuge — a place of quiet luxury and deep comfort. The project draws inspiration from the client’s love for traditional English aesthetics, translating it into an atmosphere that feels both timeless and deeply personal. Every detail, from the soft play of textures to the gentle rhythm of spaces, was designed to evoke a sense of calm and belonging.
Challenge
The main challenge was to reinterpret classical English charm through a modern lens without losing its authenticity.
It required a delicate balance between heritage and innovation — merging handcrafted details and familiar materials with a contemporary sense of proportion, light, and openness. The goal was to ensure the house feels elegant yet lived-in, refined yet inviting.
Execution
The final composition is a dialogue between eras. Clean modern lines coexist with warm natural materials — marble, polished wood, and checkered textiles — creating a layered, sophisticated interior. The generous private SPA complex completes the vision of Hazelwood House as both a serene retreat and a celebration of enduring English style.
