This contemporary 5,000 sqft residence in Miami was designed to elevate the living experience next to tranquil golf courses. The project aimed to blend elegance and comfort while creating a private sanctuary that embraces both indoor and outdoor lifestyles, reflecting the vibrant yet relaxed spirit of Miami living.
This residence is a celebration of refined living in harmony with nature. Every architectural decision was carefully considered to maximize connection with the surrounding golf courses, allowing natural light and serene views to permeate the home.
Concept
The concept focuses on balancing strength and fluidity — strong structural elements blend with natural forms and textures.
Inspired by the serene golf course surroundings and the dynamic Miami vibe, we infused the design with a sophisticated yet modern aesthetic true to the studio's signature style.
Challenge
One of the key challenges was to introduce architectural volume without compromising privacy and intimacy. The design had to accommodate large, expansive views while creating secluded outdoor spaces shielded from neighbors. The incorporation of floating walls that serve both structural and aesthetic functions demanded innovative engineering solutions, alongside the integration of intricate plaster patterns to enliven the facade without overwhelming the natural surroundings.
LAYOUT
The residence spans two floors featuring large panoramic windows that invite abundant natural light and lush greenery cascading from upper levels. A hidden, intimate outdoor sitting area complements the private swimming pool and courtyard, allowing tranquil moments shielded from the outside world.
The terraces expand the living space, offering breathtaking vistas of the golf course, while the interior layout maintains fluid connectivity between rooms and outdoor zones, supporting an indoor-outdoor lifestyle.
Result
The outcome is a commanding yet welcoming home that embodies the essence of Miami’s premier living. Floating structural walls create striking silhouettes while maintaining a sense of lightness and openness. The plaster facade adds texture and visual intrigue, weaving organic patterns that resonate with the surrounding landscape.
The private outdoor areas, abundant greenery, and considered spatial flow foster both relaxation and social engagement. This project stands as a refined expression of YODEZEEN's ability to marry bold architectural ideas with livable, elegant environments.
