Designed by YODEZEEN for Mumbai, this mixed-use high-rise development combines residential living and office spaces within a singular architectural composition shaped by climate, context, and timeless aesthetics. The project reinterprets classical architectural principles through a softer and more organic contemporary language, creating a tower that feels both monumental and deeply connected to its environment. Rather than relying on pure glass minimalism, the design introduces depth, texture, and sculptural rhythm to establish a more human and enduring urban presence.
Sustainability
A strong emphasis was placed on environmental responsiveness and passive design strategies suited to Mumbai’s intense climate.
Layered facades, recessed terraces, natural shading systems, and integrated greenery help reduce heat exposure while enhancing the quality of daylight and airflow throughout the building. Vegetation becomes an architectural element itself — extending vertically across the structure and softening the transition between the tower and the surrounding cityscape.
Result
The Prestigio is envisioned as a self-contained vertical ecosystem where private residences and professional environments coexist within a cohesive architectural identity. Shared spaces are designed to encourage a sense of openness, well-being, and connection to nature despite the density of the metropolitan setting. Through the combination of classical proportion, contemporary fluidity, and climate-conscious thinking, the project proposes a new vision of luxury high-rise living and working in Mumbai.
